For clients involved in art, it's no surprise their pied-a-terre has a gallery-like feel. In each room, the wall decor helps to round out the color scheme, while adding dimension and movement.

…beautiful story board @atlantahomesmag for our reflective retreat at the 2023 @atlantaholidayhome featuring visual and tactile layers that sooth the soul. We loved watching people enjoy this quiet moment, reaching out to touch the soft hand of fabrics and faux fur in contrast to the warm texture of the wood veneer wallpaper, allowing the layers of sensory contrast speak to their heart. It’s what we love to do!!!
COLORITO an exhibition of new works at the JoAnne Artman Gallery Spring 2024
JoAnne Artman Gallery is pleased to present COLORITO, an exhibition of new works by America Martin. A term usually applied to 16th-century Venetian painting where color is employed in a dominant manner, colorito, or ‘coloring’ was deemed fundamental to conceiving painted images charged with the look of life. America Martin’s modern interpretation includes not only judicious color application, but the vitality and vigor of the world around her as she continues her unmistakable aesthetic sensibility.

If placing a painting or print next to a window, notice the view. Are there any shapes or colors that are reflected in the piece? And last but not least, soften any sharp, rectangular edges in a room with rounded shapes in your chosen artworks.

America Martin - Solo Show presented by Wally Workman Gallery 2022
“On Saturday, December 3rd, Wally Workman Gallery will open their 10th solo show with renowned Los Angeles-based painter America Martin. The artist is inspired by form and figure as depicted by the Impressionists and Modernists of the early 20th century. A concentration on line and flat color reduces her subjects to their simplest forms and yet challenges our ideas of perception. Her confidence in mark making and gesture is clearly that of a dedicated and prolific artist. Represented across the country and internationally collected, Martin continues to impress audiences with her exciting work.

AD- “Richter designed the library around a vibrant painting by artist America Martin. “When deciding how to incorporate a Colombian American artist, I designed a cocoon of black millwork that offset the bright colors and created a warm place to watch movies in the evening,” she says. “If the apartment is like going to Paris, this is St. Barths—a little excursion.”
